| No, this does not affect the results of the test. |
How much hair will I need to send? |
| A small lock from the head, about 1” in length in a new (not used) envelope/plastic bag. |
Will I need to fill out any forms? |
| A short questionnaire will be sent to you after we receive a notification of your order. If preferred you can give us a call and we will help you to fill in the questionnaire. |
What happens when I have filled out the questionnaire and made my payment? |
| You will receive an acknowledgement which will give instructions as to how to proceed further (how much hair, how to send it, etc) including the link to the questionnaire. You will receive confirmation when your hair has been received. |
How long will it take for the results? |
| Your report is emailed within ten days after receipt of your hair sample. |
Will I understand the Report? |
| Yes! It is straightforward with no confusing graphs for you to interpret. Only issues which are relevant to you are discussed. Information is supplied on each issue requiring attention and guidance is given to help correct imbalances. Diet and supplements are also discussed as necessary. |
Is it a 'lab like' Report? |
| Graphs or tables are not provided simply because that is not the way the tests with the SCIO work. It is an overall picture of the energetic balance of the body at the time of testing the hair sample. We choose a pro-active approach to retain or regain good health and the SCIO test is part of that approach. You need to bear in mind, as is pointed out, that nothing in the advice given should ever be seen as a substitute for visiting your medical practitioner if you have concerns regarding your health. |
What does the 'overall picture of the energetic balance of the body' mean? |
| We use the most advanced energetic medicine devices in the world today, the Quantum SCIO. Each person has their own unique fingerprint identity and similarly, our bodies each have their own energy patterns with different electromagnetic oscillations. A small lock of hair is all that is required for the non-invasive test procedure. The SCIO bioresonance test scans and analyses the energy field contained in your hair, which contains an energetic pattern of the body, indicating issues which require attention. Will I have to eliminate many foods for a long time? |
| The report lists all foods which show as a sensitivity. We do not suggest that you eliminate all these foods for too long. You are given guidance as to what to do, so are not left in the dark about the way forward. |

What qualification is the practitioner's advice based on? |
| Our practitioner is practising SCIO Practitioner and Magnet Therapist. She qualified as a Magnet Therapist in 1996 and after training in biofeedback with the Quantum QXCI have been using the SCIO (the upgraded version of the QXCI). Over the past 10 years, she has also trained in phytotherapy (herbalism), health food retailing, food hygiene and nutritional supplements. Through this training she has gained knowledge in diet, nutrition and complementary medicine. |
| The recommendations she gives are based on the test results. If it is obvious from the questionnaire that particular issues need to be addressed then she will also make suggestions in this respect. |
