The human body contains twenty times more bacteria than it does human cells and these can be placed into two categories: ‘bad’ bacteria - causing illness, and ‘friendly’ bacteria - maintaining good health.

Probiotics contain living microorganisms that act within the intestines, altering the balance of the bacterial flora. The best-studied are the strains Lactobacillus acidophilus (preferentially colonizing the small intestine) and Bifidobacterium lactis (preferentially colonizing the large intestine).

Contents & Usage

• 60 veg capsules

1-3 capsules per day
If taken during a course of antibiotics, allow 3 hours after each dose of antibiotics before taking Bio-Culture. For best results swallow the capsules whole with water. Alternatively the capsule content can be emptied out and taken with food.

Caution

Suitable for people who are lactose intolerant but not recommended for people who are allergic to milk proteins. Pregnant or nursing mothers and those on medication should consult a doctor before taking nutritional supplements. Not suitable for vegans.
