Product Information
Colloidal silver is a liquid suspension of microscopic particles of silver. The super-fine silver particles are suspended indefinitely in demineralised water.
Prior to 1938, colloidal silver was widely known for its healing and defending properties, and silver products were prescribed by physicians as topical antibiotics. However, with the development of more effective, less expensive antibiotics such as penicillin, medical use of colloidal silver ceased.
In the 1970's silver began a comeback. Experiments showed that even at lower water temperatures, ionisation of soft water with silver and copper ions was effective against the bacteria.
It has been found by many eminent scholars, doctors and scientists that silver taken in its colloidal form becomes the perfect immune system stimulator. Silver is now used in modern water purification systems.
What We Think
Colloidal silver was widely used prior to the discovery of penicillin. It was shoved to the back of medical consciousness and found little use after 1929.
The medical world did not stop using it. The overwhelming qualities of silver are continued even now in the world's burn centres.
So why did the physicians stop using it? The answer seems to be a pharmaceutical decision.
