Pharma Nord - Bio Culture - 60 caps
by Pharma Nord
What is Bio Culture?
An active culture (probiotic) which contains lactic acid producing bacteria to help maintain a healthy intestinal tract. For more than just holiday tummy…
What We Think
Many probiotics need to be stored in a refrigerator which is inconvenient for travellers; Bio-Culture is stable at room temperature.
Many common probiotics fail to reach the intestines because they are destroyed by the acid environment of the stomach. Bio-Culture is encapsulated in an acid resistant gel and therefore is guaranteed to reach the intestines.
The human body contains twenty times more bacteria than it does human cells and these can be placed into two categories: ‘bad’ bacteria - causing illness, and ‘friendly’ bacteria - maintaining good health.
Probiotics contain living microorganisms that act within the intestines, altering the balance of the bacterial flora. The best-studied are the strains Lactobacillus acidophilus (preferentially colonizing the small intestine) and Bifidobacterium lactis (preferentially colonizing the large intestine).
Pharma Nord is one of Europe's largest manufacturers of preventive dietary supplements. Their philosophy is that all products must provide optimal bio-availability and physiological effect. This is only possible by making sure that both the raw materials selected and the production methods employed are adjusted to the manufacturing of superior quality.
